Furnace Hills/Echo Trail

Camp Furnace Hills, in northeastern Lancaster County, is home to 16 horses and a 19th century Swiss-German bankhouse, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Camp Furnace Hills, located adjacent to the Middlecreek Wildlife Preserve, has easy access to the Horseshoe Trail, and offers canoeing, swimming, and archery. Camp Furnace Hills is fully accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and also meets the requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Girl Scouts of the USA. Camp Echo Trail, located in southeastern York County along the Susquehanna River, has been an established Girl Scout campsite since 1953. This 315 acre site has wide open field areas suitable for numerous sporting activities.  Sites include a teepee unit, tents, challenges course, the archery field, and a T-shaped pool. Camp Echo Trail is fully accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and also meets the requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Girl Scouts of the USA.
