Position title: Outreach Manager

Position reports to: Membership Development Director, Teri Goward

Position status: Full time

Location: Hazleton / Scranton

Travel required: Some travel.

Position summary:

The Outreach Manager is responsible for recruiting and maintaining girl membership in the assigned targeted outreach communities/areas by working with groups and individuals to promote the image and increase the visibility of Girl Scouting and to broaden the base of community support.

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor degree or equivalent. Five years experience in membership development preferred. Prior supervisory experience, preferably some offsite supervision. Strong communication, organization and time management skills. Ability to develop community collaborations. Experience in the development of budgets and ability to manage financial resources effectively. Proficient in recruitment and training techniques.
