Week Long Horse Program (Weeks, 6, 7, 8, & 9): Click to read more

This summer horse program provides youth with fun activities and specialized horsemanship training at Meadowview Stables. Daily ground lessons and Western or English riding lessons are supervised and taught by a Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) riding instructor. Instruction times are twice each day except for Wednesday.

The program concludes with a special show for parents on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at Meadowview Stables.

Summer Camp Dates

Note:
1. Registration MUST be completed by the parent of the girl.

2. The girl must be a registered member of Girl Scouts by the night prior in order to register for camp.

3. Please plan on one hour to create your NEW Camp Brain profile and camp registration. Note: Once you've completed your profile, the registration process takes about 10 minutes. Your profile will be saved for future use.

Troop High Adventure Day

Troop High Adventure Day (Daisies-Ambassadors; Grades K-12)
Summer Camp registration opens online on February 1, 2018 at 7:00 a.m. Note: Registration for this program will take place in RegFox.

Note:
1. Since this can be a troop event, troop leaders OR parents can register for Troop High Adventure Day via RegFox.

2. Not in a Troop?  All girls are invited, but require a chaperone.  Chaperones attend for free.

3. RegFox registration for this event will require only dietary restrictions and special accommodations for each girl. A $10 deposit is required for each girl with final payment due in June.  All girl attendees will require a waiver form signed by her parents or guardians to attend.

Ways to Pay

Deposit: All sessions and camps, except for the Week-Long Horse Program, requires a $50 nonrefundable deposit. The Week-Long Horse Program requires a $100 deposit.

Go Dough: Go Dough can be used to pay your desposit and the remaining balance for any GSHPA sponsored program including Summer Camp 2018.

Financial Assistance: Income should not determine whether a girl can experience the magic of camp. Learn more about Financial Assistance below.

Payment Plan: Pay the deposit and sign up for a payment plan February-May. Payment in full is due by May 15, 2018. 

Financial Assistance

Along with registration for camp, applying for Financial Assistance also opens on Feb. 1.  Using the online registration platform called Camp Brain, parents can apply for Financial Assistance right within their camp registration application. With up to $45,000 available, families can apply beginning February 1 and applications will be approved on a first-come, first-serve basis, until all funds are assigned.   

GSHPA will provide $300 for resident camp and $150 for mini-camp in financial assistance.  Add-on trips/activities are not eligible for financial assistance. Applications for financial assistance will be reviewed and approved weekly, until the resources allotted for 2018 have been depleted.

Cancellation and Refund Policies
  • A full refund, minus the deposit, will be given if you cancel at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the selected program. 

  • A full refund, mins the deposit, will be given for all medically required cancellations provided with a doctor's note. 

  • A Day-Trip Add On refund will be issued if it is cancelled due to weather conditions. 

  • For all other cancellations, no refund will be given.
