What is Product Sales Dough? Product Sales Dough is one of the Fall Product Sale recognitions (if the girl selections and meets the level requirements) that girls can apply to GSHPA resident camp and/or GSHPA program.

When you say camp, does that include Service Unit Day Camp? No. That is not considered a GSHPA-run camp. If you have questions on which camps you can apply credit to, please contact the Registrar Department.

How do I use the Product Sales Dough to register for a program? You will need to send in the Product Sales Dough with your registration. The Registration department will mail any remaining credits back to the girl. (You must have actual Product Sales Dough in hand to receive credit toward a camp or program. We do not issue “credits” in advance.)

How do I register for a program online using my Product Sales Dough? You cannot use your Product Sales Dough credit online. You must mail or bring the Product Sales Dough into Council with your registration.

Why can’t I use the Product Sales Dough in the Council Shop/Store/Trading Post? At this time the Product Sales Dough is only available for camps (as specified above) and programs.

Can my daughters share the Product Sales Dough to go to camp? Yes. You will need to contact Council (your Product Sales Associate) to confirm your request to transfer the Product Sales Dough. Council will reissue the transferred Product Sales Dough credit to new girl and close the original recipients Product Sales Dough credit.

My daughter won’t be able to use the entire credit, is it transferable? Yes. You will need to contact Council (your Product Sales Associate) to confirm your request to transfer the Product Sales Dough. Council will reissue the transferred Product Sales Dough credit to new girl and close the original recipients Product Sales Dough credit.

When will the credit expire? The GSHPA Camp/Program credit will expire as of 9/30/2010.

What happens if I have a remaining balance on my Product Sales Dough? Council will track your remaining balance on the back of the credit, and keep track internally. You will be able to deplete your credit until the expiration date.

Can I use the Product Sales Dough towards my camp deposit? No.The credit can only be applied toward the actual cost of camp. We need the deposit to ensure your daughter’s spot for camp. The deposit for camp, in this instance only, is refundable if your credit covers the entire cost of camp and the deposit. However, you must provide a front and back copy of the check and certificate to receive the full refund.

If I already registered for camp, can I use my Product Sales Dough toward that camp? Yes. You can mail or drop off your Product Sales Dough with someone in the Registrar department and have them place the credit toward that camp. The Accounting department will issue a refund check (if applicable) within 3 weeks.

Is there a minimum cost required when spending my Product Sales Dough? The minimum cost is $5.00.
