Friends & Family Information for 2011 Fall Product Program

What are the dates of the program?
The Fall Product Program launches on September 12, 2011 and ends on October 21, 2011. Troops usually pick a 2-3 week period within the dates mentioned above. Please contact your Girl Scout for her specific program dates.

When do I pay for my purchase?
The girls will collect money for the nut and candy items at the time of delivery. Magazine/Book and Share donations are collected at the time of the order, this allows QSP to process the orders more quickly and efficiently.

What is the share program?
Girl Scouts and Ashdon Farms have teamed up to help our local USO. During the Fall Product Program sale, customers may choose to make a donation to the local USO. Each donation is a flat $5.00 fee, customers do not select what to send, as this is predetermined by the local USO. Girls will collect money at the time of the order and Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA and Ashdon Farms will ship the donated items to the local USO. For every 5 donations a girl collects, she will earn a special Share Donation patch!

Will girls be selling door-to-door?
No. The Fall Product Program encourages girls to approach their friends and family to help support the Girl Scouts.

Can I buy product at the Council Shop?
No. Because it is a girl-program, only registered Girl Scouts may sell the products.

Who makes the Nut and Candy items?
Ashdon Farms is our supplier of nut and candy items. Ashdon Farms has a 150,000 square foot facility that runs state-of-the-art machinery. In 2008, Ashdon Farms received the highest rating possible of “Superior” from AIB (Association of International Bakers). Last year, Ashdon Farms built a warehouse specifically for the Girl Scouts!

When can I expect to receive my nut and candy items?
Girls should be delivering products at the end of November/beginning of December.

Can I use a coupon that the publisher sent me to purchase my magazine?
No. QSP has stopped honoring publisher coupons.

How long does it take to receive the magazine/book I ordered?
Magazines and books will arrive approximately 12 weeks after payment is received.

Who do I contact if I haven’t received my magazine/book yet?
Please call the QSP Customer Service hotline toll-free, 1-800-678-2673 or refer to the back of your Pink Customer receipt.
