| All About Magic Patch (D, B, J)Girls will explore the mystery of magic, learn a simple magic trick, and find out what training is involved in becoming a magician.

| Backyard Astronomer Patch (D, B, J, C, S, A)Do you like to look at stars? Do you know what light pollution is? How does it feel to wear a space suit and conduct science experiments? Do you wish you could rocket to Saturn and spin on the rings? If these questions interest you then you have a chance to become a Backyard Astronomer!

| Bookworm Patch (D, B, J)This patch can only be earned using the Bookworm Grab 'n' Go Resource.

| Bowling Patch (D, B, J, C, S, A)Girls will have fun bowling while learning about this sport. Tour the inner working of the bowling center, learn about the equipment, understand safety and etiquette at the bowling lane, and more.

| Coal Legend Patch (J, C, S, A)Girls will explore the world of coal mining and what role Pennsylvania played and visit mining towns of Pennsylvania to learn more about the families that lived there. Girls will look at the past and present uses of coal and look at what the future of coal might be. Girls can mine for chocolate chips, make coal flowers, and simulate regulation by eating cookies.

| FORE! Golf Patch (C, S, A)Girls will learn the proper warm-ups, become familiar with golf etiquette, and how to keep score. Girls will explore the history of women in golf and how media coverage has affected golf’s exposure to the public, its popularity, and salaries paid to female golfers. Click here for requirements.

| Foxfire House Patch (J, C, S, A)Foxfire House is an early 19th century Swiss-German bank house restored as a program center. It provides a place to experience rural living as many people did 150+ years ago. Girls will become acquainted with the way of life of the early Pennsylvania Germans, especially in those families who settled in and near the Foxfire House.

| Gone Fishing Patch (D, B, J, C, S, A)Girls will learn about different types of fishing, water and boating safety, bait, tackle, casting, and how to be a responsible angler. Girls will explore the environment around the water and the aquatic life that resides there.

| Leading the Way Troop Award Patch (D, B, J, C, S, A)Girl Scouts has always been about leadership. The launch of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience is a great time to showcase how your troop leads with the Leading the Way Troop Award. Excel in the areas of Troop Management, Volunteer Development and Troop/Group Leadership activities. When you have completed all activities, you'll be a Super Troop and earn a patch.

This patch program will explore all there is to know about healthy breasts and answer myths you may have learned from your girl friends. You will also learn about risks and things you can do today to help prevent breast cancer down the road. There are also a few fun community awareness campaigns associated with the patch program. | Shape Up Stars Patch (D, B, J, C, S, A)
Girls will learn how to make healthy decisions for themselves in five categories Substance-Free Living, Healthy Eating, Active Lifestyle, Personal Safety, and Emotional Well-being. Each segment is earned separately and when all five segments are earned, a star is created.

| Watch The Birdie Patch (J, C, S, A)Birds are fascinating creatures. Whether you live in a city or in the country, birds are everywhere. Girls will learn more about these fine-feathered friends – habits, bird calls, migration patterns, and more.

| Women and the Civil War Patch (B, J, C, S, A)Girls will become familiar with Gettysburg, why it has made its mark in history via the three day battle of the Civil War, and what role women played during this time. Girls will discover how the Civil War became a launch pad into the future by creating a need for new and better methods in such areas as medicine, armaments, industry, and even in the home.

| Our Rights, Our Responsibilities Patch (J)Join with Girl Scouts and Girl Guides internationally to gain greater awareness of human rights and why they are essential for children worldwide. The activities encourage you to take constructive responsibility for claiming basic rights for yourselves and for others. In the process, you will be empowered to become effective citizens in your local and global communities.
