Troop Pen Pals for GSHPA
Troop Pen Pals is an opportunity for Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania to link up with other Girl Scouts all over the United States.

GSHPA troops who would like to link with other troops should:
- Decide as a troop to correspond with a Girl Scout troop in another Council.
- Make the commitment to be part of the Pen Pal Network for at least one year from the date of initial communication with a Pen Pal troop.
- Submit the Pen Pal Link Request Form below.
| When writing to your pen pals, considering telling them about:
- Yourself, family, home, and pets.
- Your neighborhood, town, special holidays and community activities.
- Your Girl Scout troop, leaders, and fun things you did this year.
- Your hobbies, interests, and extra-curricular activities.
- Send photos, sketches, maps, recipes, games or songs.

Pen Pal links are for troops only, there are no provisions for individual links.

Pen Pal links are NOT for Girl Scout Daisy troops.

Troops should not use a Pen Pal link just to complete a badge or bridging requirement, etc.

Pen Pal links can not always be made with a requested state, so please list first and second choices of regions.

GSHPA Pen Pal Network Request Form
This form must be completed by a troop leader and is ONLY for GSHPA troops.
In order to ensure girls' safety, GSHPA will only match girls from other Councils who have come through their Council's Pen Pal coordinators.
