Girl Scouts in Heart of Pa. to host interfaith service

Interfaith post

HARRISBURG, PA – The Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania will be celebrating a virtual interfaith service on the evening of March 15.

Please join us as GSHPA President and CEO Janet Donovan and Chaplain Margaret G. Kibben, the 61st Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives, will share in hosting and leading prayer in this special virtual event.

Faith is at the heart of Girl Scouting and has always been integral to the Girl Scout tradition and experience. This interfaith celebration is fitting ending to our Girl Scout Week events.

It’s also a time when many troops celebrate the connections between Girl Scouting and their faith, learn more about other faiths, and thank faith partners for their support throughout the year.

During the interfaith event we will be highlighting some of our Girl Scout’s work and share in song and worship.

The celebration begins at 7 p.m., March 15. Join us by either registering for the event on Zoom or watch live from our Facebook page.
