What is Earth Day?

We’re so glad you asked! Earth Day takes place on April 22nd and is an annual event demonstrating support for environmental protection and sustainability.

Why are trees so important?

Trees are crucial for the earth’s ecosystem! Did you know that 8 out of 10 animals, nearly 5 MILLION SPECIES TOTAL, make their homes in forests? A single large tree can produce nearly 260 pounds of oxygen per year, and while lifespan varies by species and environment, trees generally live to be between 50-300 years old- that’s a lot of oxygen!

I’m interested! How do I get started?
