Today, Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania (GSHPA) officially kicks off the 2022 Girl Scout Cookie Season where consumers can support local Girl Scout entrepreneurs by purchasing their favorite cookies online using the Girl Scout Cookie Finder.
Girl Scouts are again selling cookies in creative, socially distant, and contact-free ways to keep themselves and their customers safe during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world. Our Girl Scouts in Central and Northeast Pennsylvania are savvy marketers and leaders who use the skills they learn in this incredible program to reach big goals,” said Jess Delp, Director of Product Program and Retail at GSHPA. “Thank you to our community for their continued support!”
The unique business platform provides tasty treats and fuels entrepreneurship. Girl Scouts learn important online and in-person business skills that set them up for life-long success and fund their adventures. Every Girl Scout Cookie purchase helps local Girl Scouts explore their interests, discover their passions, and take action on issues they care about. Whether they are using STEM skills to problem solve, changing a law to help their community, having a courageous outdoor experience, or establishing an innovative nonprofit, Girl Scouts build a better future for themselves and the world.
