Camp Echo Trail was founded in 1953, and the 315-acre camp is located in southeastern York County near the Susquehanna River. The camp offers open spaces for field activities as well as the Mason Dixon Trial for hiking.
In the summer, accommodations can house up to 264 people. During the winter months, Echo Trail can accommodate 112 people. Units at camp are varied from lodges, tents, adirondacks to tipis at Hilltop.

Challenge Course Facilitators work with groups to safely recognize and reach their potential through fun and challenging team-building activities. Challenge Course Facilitators use initiatives, low course and high course elements to enhance self-confidence, promote positive group dynamics, expand problem-solving abilities and increase levels of communications. You’re a perfect fit to become a Challenge Course Facilitator if you are interested in challenging yourself and others; enjoy the outdoors; are willing to work and live with others; and want to contribute to Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania’s program offerings. You should also enjoy working with all ages, be responsible and have a sense of humor. Experience is not necessary and training will be provided. Camp Echo Trail is fully accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and also meets the requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Girl Scouts of the USA.
