York Mayor Inspires Girl Scouts at Bridging Ceremony

Mayor Kim Bracey spoke to more than 80 Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania about the importance of staying in school and making good life choices. It was at a ceremony at Fahrquar Park in York on June 4, 2010. The girls were celebrating moving from one level of Girl Scouting to the next, a ceremony called bridging. The mayor congratulated the girls and encouraged them to stay in Girl Scouting. Read more.
