About Fall Product Program
The Fall Product Program is a Council-sponsored program that combines educational activities with money earning opportunities for troops. Our Fall Program is known as a “Friends and Family” sale, meaning registered Girl Scouts can approach friends and family to purchase nut and candy items, as well as, magazines. Funds earned through the program help troops earn start-up money for their programs and activities throughout the troop year. All registered Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts can participate.
The 2012 Fall Product Program theme is What Can a Girl Do? Girls who participate in the program will learn the importance of financial literacy, business planning and innovation. The Fall Product Program is meant to help girls Discover, Connect and Take Action through different activities.
-
Girls will Discover how planning and innovation can equal success.
-
Girls will Connect with others as they implement their plan and achieve their goals.
-
Girls will Take Action by implementing these skills and growing into future leaders.
These are life-long skills that girls can use in Girl Scouts, but also in everyday life!
Girls participate in fun activities while developing their self-potential, relating to others and contributing to society. By participating in the Fall Product Program, girls can earn different patches and recognitions, and help their troop profit for future programs and activities.
