Camp Creepy Crawlies is a weekend camp for Girl Scouts to get in the spooky mood while learning about spiders and other insects! At Camp Creepy Crawlies, Girl Scouts get to have fun in all sorts of ways: Halloween crafts and games, costume party, pumpkin archery, and more staffed by sister Girl Scouts.
Arrive at Camp Small Valley Saturday afternoon and get ready
for a day of fun!
We will start our day learning about and meeting spiders and other creepy crawly critters from a local expert. Then it's off to explore and learn more about the spiders, insects and bugs around us with activities led by our fellow Girl Scouts earning their Outdoor Program Aide award. There will also be time to do pumpkin archery and do other fun Halloween themed camp activities. We will then change into our Halloween costumes for dinner followed by "trick-or-treating" around camp. Followed by some Halloween games and all will gather around a campfire for smores. Our night will finish with a fun Halloween dance party! We will sleep-in on Sunday and enjoy a late breakfast before we head home.
Brownies will earn their Bugs Badge and Juniors will
earn the Incredible Insects Badge.
