If you’re interested in being a voice for your local Girl Scout community and play a part in governance, join our team of Girl Scout delegates.
GSHPA Service Unit Delegate Criteria:
- Registered member of GSHPA
- 18 years of age or older
- Current background checks on file
- Willing to serve as a liaison between the GSHPA Board and your service unit members for a term of one year
- Willing to complete delegate trainings
- Able to virtually participate in the GSHPA Annual Meeting in April
- Are elected by members of the service unit
- Elections are to be held at the first service unit meeting following the Annual Meeting, pursuant to Article 2, Section 1, Subsection C of the GSHPA bylaws
- Those interested in serving as a service unit delegate or alternate should reach out to their service unit lead or memberservices@gshpa.org
GSHPA National Delegate Criteria:
- Registered member of GSHPA
- 14 years of age or older
- Adult volunteers must have current background checks on file
- Willing to complete delegate trainings
- Willing to serve as a liaison between the GSUSA Board and GSHPA members for a term of three years
- Able to attend the GSUSA triennial Nation Council Session in person
- Are elected by GSHPA delegates
- Those interested must apply. Information on the application process for the next triennium (2028-2030) will be available in late 2027
