Bridging is an important transition in a Girl Scout's life. It's a
defining moment when a Girl Scout becomes aware of her achievements
and is ready for new adventures and responsibilities. Please join us
for our First Council Wide Bridging Ceremony where the whole family
can recognize how far their Girl Scout has come and prepare for
amazing things to come.
There will be a celebration at Nay Aug
Park where the girls will receive a certificate from GSHPA and an
opportunity to see their Girl Scout sisters from other area troops
also bridging.
Light desserts will be
provided.
*Bridging and earned end-of-year patches need
to be supplied by each troop - at the event or at a later date.
SWAPS are encouraged. (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately
Pinned Somewhere). How does it work? Each troop makes a little
something to give to other girls that represent their troop, where
they're from, or what they like to do in Girl Scouting. Go to https://www.girlscouts.org/en/members/for-volunteers/traditions-and-ceremonies.html#swaps
for more information.
An email with more details will go
out to those registered before the event with more specific details.
