Calling all Girl Scouts! We are celebrating Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend at Lackawanna State Park!

Give us a hand with community science projects and habitat restoration while learning and enjoying the outdoors in one or both activities we have planned for the day!

Salamander Habitat Rescue - Many amphibians, like our Spotted Salamander, depend on non-descript, temporary pools of water to lay eggs in and develop in. Unfortunately, ours are being impacted by a non-native plant - Glossy Buckthorn. We can use a  your help removing this plant from around these small, but vital, habitats to ensure the survival of these amazing creatures.
Suitable for Scout Levels Juniors and older.

Space is limited and separate registration is required for each activity
