R.B. Winter State Park is a fantastic area to search for some herps, or reptiles and amphibians! Join us for an interpretive walk as we explore some important habitats for these animals and learn about the species often found in the park. In case some herps are feeling shy during the walk, a variety of reptiles and amphibians will be on display at our Environmental Learning Center after the program.
This program will be led by a girl scout, so show your support during Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend by tagging along for our herp walk and talk!
We will remain on park trails and walkways, but please wear durable walking shoes. Meet at the Halfway Run Environmental Learning Center by 1 PM.
