This one-day event creates the foundation needed for successful longer-term experiences away from home. Our welcoming staff, volunteers and vendors build bonds within our membership, harmoniously tying together the rustic camp experience with a modern approach.

Summer Spectacular Days are designed to gently guide even the youngest campers outside of their comfort zones, challenging them to take positive risks and engage in decision making activities. Adult Chaperones are required for this event and can take part in activities alongside the girls. Let's create, explore, and wind down with a good old campfire before bidding adieu. It only takes one day of camp to positively impact a child's future.

Single Day Sessions held from 1 - 4 pm with an option Campfire Activity from 4-5 pm:

Groups will participate in rotation activities throughout the day and a campfire at the end of the program. Activities vary per property and are facilitated by vendors, volunteers, and staff. Chaperones attend the day event for free and every child will receive a new patch for the event, snack options, a few free camp giveaway items, and take-home activities. More details on specific activities for each camp will be posted soon!

This is NOT a drop-off event, all parents/guardians MUST stay on camp property for the duration of the program. Troops attending this event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two unrelated chaperones.

Please note: This event needs a minimum of 15 total girls for this event to occur

Upon Completion of your Summer Camp Registration, you will be required to fill out Camp Information Forms for your troop or family. You will receive these in an email one week after you complete your registration. These forms must be completed two weeks before your camp session or your registration will be subject to cancelation with no refund.

Want to turn this day event into an overnight? When completing your forms, families and troops can purchase units or beds spaces in units for Friday and Saturday evenings. Families or Troops that stay overnight will be considered rentals and must take care of their own food, activities, and safety before the event begins and after the event ends at 5 p.m. Spots are limited and can be booked by completing the "2024 Troop & Family Camp Forms and Overnight Purchase" Form. This form is emailed to registered participants the week after they register for the Spectacular Day Event.
