Seniors who are interested in earning their Gold Award are invited to
come and work on their GIRLtopia (Seniors) or Bliss (Ambassadors)
journey while also learning about the Gold Award. Girls will work on
developing their vision for an ideal world and demonstrate the ways
society can improve through some form of self-expression. We will also
review the Gold Award process, things to consider while working on
your Gold Award, and next steps toward earning the award.
*Girls will need to complete a Take Action project after the event to
complete their GIRLtopia or Bliss Journey. Also, please note that
girls will need an additional Senior or Ambassador-level journey or
have previously earned their Silver Award before starting on their
Gold Award.
We will provide dinner on Friday and
breakfast on Saturday. Participants will need to bring their own lunch
for Saturday, snacks, and water.
Troops attending this
event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer
