Join Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania for an unforgettable Large-Scale Bridging Ceremony as we cross the Susquehanna River via the Walnut Street Walking Bridge in Harrisburg, PA. This event is proudly brought to you in partnership with Leadership Harrisburg Area, highlighting our shared commitment to fostering leadership and community engagement.

This event celebrates the growth and achievements of Girl Scouts as they advance to the next program level, creating lasting memories for girls, troop leaders, and families. In addition to the symbolic bridge crossing, the day will consist of food, SWAPS, and more.

The fee for this event is $5 for Girl Scouts who are bridging and includes a commemorative patch. Adults and family members may attend at no charge.

This is not a drop-off event; therefore, girls must be accompanied by an adult and remain under the supervision of a troop leader, caregiver, or another trusted adult. Troop leaders or caregivers are required to register as an adult for this event.

After registration, we will send a follow-up form to gather important details such as mobility restrictions, interest in volunteering during the event, and a total headcount for your group, knowing that many families may wish to bring additional guests, such as siblings and grandparents. These additional guests will be captured by the follow-up form and do not need to be registered via gsEvents.

We look forward to celebrating this special day with our Girl Scout community and honoring the dedication and accomplishments of all involved!
