Girl Scout Delegates: vote on GSHPA policies and participate in governance

Delegates and Governance

Girl Scouts of all ages are passionate leaders ready to reinvigorate our movement, celebrate accomplishments, and chart brighter futures for girls.

If you’re interested in being a voice for your local Girl Scout community, vote on GSHPA policies, and play a part in governance, join our team of Girl Scout delegates.

To be a delegate for Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, you must:

  • Be a registered Girl Scout, 14 years or older
  • Serve a set term—Review our  bylaws for more information
  • Represent a specific area/community within the council during Regional Governance Meetings, the Annual Meeting, and possibly even GSUSA’s  National Girl Scout Convention

Strategic Plan Participation

Greetings to GSHPA members, volunteers, supporters and friends -

As GSHPA shared during recent governance meeting, we are very excited to begin the ambitious yet sensational work, set in motion by our new strategic plan.  The full plan and a visual summary is provided here for your consideration and review.

GSHPA Strategic Plan

GSHPA Strategic Plan Summary

Please take the time to read through this document and consider participating in a work group.  This plan continues to shape and push Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania forward on its truly amazing journey and future.  Member and volunteer participation on any of the many workgroups that will be formed, is vital to fulfilling our mission.  Please participate!

To participate in a Strategic Plan workgroup, please complete this form.

There is no deadline for submitting the form.  In a few weeks, you can expect to hear from your local Regional Director about which workgroups are forming and when; and how you can participate.

Thank you for all that you do and we look forward to charting the course of GSHPA together!
