Girl Scout Delegates: vote on GSHPA policies and participate in governance

Delegates and Governance

Girl Scouts of all ages are passionate leaders ready to reinvigorate our movement, celebrate accomplishments, and chart brighter futures for girls.

If you’re interested in being a voice for your local Girl Scout community, vote on GSHPA policies, and play a part in governance, join our team of Girl Scout delegates.

To be a delegate for Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, you must:

  • Must be a registered Girl Scout member, 18 years of age or older
  • Have current background checks on file
  • Serve a set term—see  bylaws for more information
  • Represent a specific area/community within the council during Regional Governance Meetings, the Annual Meeting, and possibly even GSUSA’s National Girl Scout Convention
