Registration for all council-run events will close once publicly promoted capacity is met or one week prior to the event start date.

Refund Policy for Events
Program fee refunds will not be issued for cancellations received one week or less before the program start date.

Cancellation Policy for Free Events
(Does not apply to Summer Camp program):

If you have registered for a FREE council-run event and can no longer attend, please notify GSHPA's Member Services team immediately at 800.692.7816 so we can open the spot to a waitlisted Girl Scout.

GirlBoss Series: Senior Business Start-UP

Brownie/Junior Science Superheroes

Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts are invited to GSHPA’s Science Superheroes learning experience at Camp Furnace Hills! Girls will share their interests and learn how to connect them with various STEM careers. They will brainstorm what they need to do to get these careers while participating in fun activities!

SA Career Readiness Workshop

Seniors and Ambassadors are invited to come and learn more about career readiness at Camp Happy Valley Girls will learn how to identify their interests and passions, determining their talents and skills, and how to find careers based around those factors. They will also get to hear from local professionals.

CSA: Naturalist In Training at Camp Archbald

Girls in sixth through 12th grade are invited to Camp Archbald for Naturalist in Training! Your older girl will participate in an overnight learning experience where she’ll do some citizen science, nature journaling, new career discovery, and more. Friends are welcome, so have her grab a buddy for a fun weekend in the outdoors!

Leos Apprentice Studio- Da Vinci Science Center - Program Partner

Join us in Leo’s Apprentice Studio to learn how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) intersect to forge new and exciting careers every day! Follow in the footsteps of Leonardo Da Vinci, the original STEAM thinker, and explore how you can transform your own curiosity and love of learning into unique professions. This program supports the pursuit of Girl Scouts STEM Career Exploration Badges and Scouts BSA Animation and Digital Technology Merit Badges.  One adult required for every 5 girl scouts. CSA First Aid Badges at Camp Happy Valley

MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED

Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors can come work on their First Aid badge at Camp Happy Valley. Girls will learn how to prevent and treat outdoor injuries, how to help someone who has been in a traumatic injury, learn about healthcare careers from professionals in the field, and more.

STEM in The Outdoors at Camp Archbald

Join Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA for a full day of outdoor science adventure! During this event, Girl Scouts will be able to hang out with female leaders in science and technology, explore a variety of STEM careers, and enjoy a range of hands-on activities while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors!
