Join us for a cozy and relaxing fall-themed weekend celebrating the
changing of the seasons at Camp Furnace Hills! Camp Sweater Weather is
a special weekend camp designed for Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts to
relax and recharge in nature before the busy holiday season. During
the weekend, Girl Scouts will enjoy cozy activities like campfire
cooking, making fall décor, nature journaling, crafting fall-themed
face masks and scrubs, and much more!
Arrive at Camp Furnace
Hills on Friday evening and get ready for a weekend full of relaxing
fun! We'll kick off the weekend around the campfire with s'mores, hot
cocoa, hot apple cider, and camp songs before settling into our units
for the night.
Saturday begins with breakfast alongside our sister scouts, followed by a morning hike focused on mindfulness in nature. There will also be an opportunity to try your hand at archery.
After enjoying lunch together, we'll get crafty with fun fall projects. Our evening will wrap up around the campfire again, where we'll learn some campfire plays and, of course, enjoy s'mores once more! On Sunday, we will sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast before we head home, refreshed and ready for the season ahead.
