Dearest Sister Scouts, you are cordially invited to Tea with Miss Juliette: A Birthday Celebration in Honor of Juliette Gordon Low.
Step into a world of flowers, elegance and legacy as we host an afternoon tea in honor of the extraordinary Miss Juliette Gordon Low-affectionately known as "Daisy." Put on your finest dress, your loveliest hat or crown, and join us for an enchanting celebration filled with delightful manners, creative crafts, and timeless stories.
The afternoon begins with a rare opportunity to "Meet Daisy" herself, as girls' journey back in time to Savannah, Georgia, and discover how one young woman's courage and curiosity blossomed into the global sisterhood we now know as Girl Scouts.
With grace and giggles, girls will learn the art of tea etiquette, before crafting elegant tea hats and lacy doilies fit for any drawing room. They will also hear the touching tale of how Juliette sold her valued pearl necklace to help fund the very first Girl Scouts and create their own string of "pearls" to take home as a reminder of her and her selfless spirit.
There shall be sweets and sips, crafts and conversation, all in celebration of friendship, bravery, and the timeless joy of Girl Scouting.
Dress attire: Fancy tea party fashion encouraged. Gloves, pearls (if you have them), bows, and sparkles certainly make splendid finishing touches.
As a delightful bonus, this event will fulfill the Daisy Promise Center and the Brownie Girl Scout Way Badge requirements. Should they be using this event for this purpose, troops will need to purchase these badges individually. Each participant will receive a Juliette Gordon Low Birthday fun patch to commemorate the occasion.
