In this hands-on STEM activity, Girl Scouts will explore how numbers, shapes, and science connect to nature through these fun nature-themed activities. Brownie activities will include measuring temperatures, comparing leaf sizes, graphing your data, and designing your own garden! Junior activities will include planning a hike, reading topographic maps, calculating distances, and discovering how energy and gravity work on the trail!
Please Note: End time of 12:00 PM is approximate and actual end time may be earlier.
Troops attending this event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two unrelated chaperones. All adults attending the program MUST be registered. Please consider only registering enough adults in order to maintain ratio. Any additional adults will take away from girl spots.
You will receive additional information regarding your program about 1 week prior to the start of the event.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Program fee refunds will not be issued for cancellations received ONE WEEK or less before the event. If GSHPA staff need to cancel the event due to low enrollment or other factors, program fee refunds will be issued and registrants will be notified.
