Get ready to bug out with this fun-filled Brownie adventure! Girls will explore the amazing world of insects and discover that bugs are more than just backyard critters they play important roles in nature and on farms. Through hands-on activities, Brownies will learn how to identify insects, create their own bug-inspired craft, explore bug homes, and see bugs in action. They'll also discover how farmers can use their knowledge of insects to protect crops in environmentally friendly ways. By the end of this event, girls will have a newfound appreciation for these tiny creatures and earn their Bug badge!

Troops attending this event must adhere to the
girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls
must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two
unrelated chaperones. All adults attending the program MUST be
registered. Please consider only registering enough adults in order to
maintain ratio. Any additional adults will take away from girl
spots.
You will receive additional information
regarding your program about 1 week prior to the start of the
event.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Program fee refunds will
not be issued for cancellations received ONE WEEK or less before the
event. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event
closes. If GSHPA staff need to cancel the event due to low enrollment
or other factors, program fee refunds will be issued and registrants
will be notified. Registration transfers will not be possible once the
event closes.
