Check out this program designed for our oldest girls - Ambassadors! This Adopt-A-Badge event will cover the importance of self expression, body positivity, maintaining boundaries, promoting self-care, and self esteem, all in the context of promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. Girls will have the chance to join in group discussion, along with art and writing activities that promote creative expression. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind session at Camp Small Valley!
NAMI Central PA's mission is to decrease stigma surrounding mental health conditions and to encourage everyone to have open and honest discussions about mental health.
Ambassadors will earn their "Cheers for Every Body" badge at this event.
Troops attending this event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two unrelated chaperones. All adults attending the program MUST be registered. Please consider only registering enough adults in order to maintain ratio. Any additional adults will take away from girl spots.
You will receive additional information regarding your program about 1 week prior to the start of the event.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Program fee refunds will not be issued for cancellations received ONE WEEK or less before the event. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event closes. If GSHPA staff need to cancel the event due to low enrollment or other factors, program fee refunds will be issued and registrants will be notified. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event closes.
