Daisy & Brownie Money Makers: Spend, Save & Make Smart Choices!
Join Goodwill Keystone Area's Wisdom Opportunity Wealth (WoW) program for a fun, hands-on financial literacy workshop designed just for Daisies and Brownies! WoW provides free financial literacy education and resources to help individuals of all ages build confidence and develop healthy money habits.
Through interactive, age-appropriate activities, girls will learn about coins and bills, explore needs versus wants, practice making smart spending and saving choices, and learn the basics of budgeting. Activities will include money-matching games, "What Would You Choose?" spending challenges using play money, and a fun group adventure-budgeting activity.
To bring it all together, each girl will paint and personalize her own piggy bank and create a savings goal to take home! Girls will complete the requirements for the Daisy Money Explorer, Daisy My Money Choices, and Brownie Budget Builder badges during the workshop while having fun, getting creative, and building money skills they can use in everyday life.
Daisy girls will earn their Money Explorer and My Money Choices badges. Brownie girls will earn their Budget Builder badge.
Troops attending this event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two unrelated chaperones. All adults attending the program MUST be registered. Please consider only registering enough adults in order to maintain ratio. Any additional adults will take away from girl spots.
You will receive additional information regarding your program about 1 week prior to the start of the event.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Program fee refunds will not be issued for cancellations received ONE WEEK or less before the event. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event closes. If GSHPA staff need to cancel the event due to low enrollment or other factors, program fee refunds will be issued and registrants will be notified. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event closes.
