Calling all Juniors to join us in the world of gardens! Discover the amazing science behind plants, flowers, and the food we eat. Girls will explore how flowers help produce fruits through pollination, identify the parts of a flower by creating their own flower model, and uncover the many ways flowers help people and the environment. They'll also learn how gardens can thrive in different spaces, experiment with seeds, and discover how to choose plants for a successful garden. To top it off, girls will investigate innovative growing methods by building their own hydroponic system and testing whether plants can grow without soil-an exciting solution for feeding a growing world. Through hands-on activities and experiments, girls will earn their Flowers badge while growing their knowledge of gardening, plant science, and the future of agriculture.
Junior girls will earn their "Flowers" and "Gardener" badges at this event.
