Body Positivity is an event designed to empower Girl Scouts to better understand themselves and others through hands-on wellness activities. Through interactive stations, participants will explore how self-care, mental and physical health, and inclusive healthcare practices support confidence from the inside out. Scouts will learn about personalized care by creating products like lip balm, discover how medicines support both mind and body, and participate in activities that highlight how every person's health needs are unique. This experience promotes self-esteem, healthy habits, and respect for body diversity while connecting real-world pharmacy concepts to everyday wellness.
Each Girl Scout will earn a badge aligned with her level - Outside The Mirror (Cadette), Mind, Body, Me (Senior), or Cheers for Every Body (Ambassador) - making this a meaningful and age-appropriate celebration of caring for ourselves and others.
Troops attending this event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two unrelated chaperones. All adults attending the program MUST be registered. Please consider only registering enough adults in order to maintain ratio. Any additional adults will take away from girl spots.
You will receive additional information regarding your program about 1 week prior to the start of the event. Participants will need to bring their own snacks and drinks, if desired.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Program fee refunds will not be issued for cancellations received ONE WEEK or less before the event. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event closes. If GSHPA staff need to cancel the event due to low enrollment or other factors, program fee refunds will be issued and registrants will be notified. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event closes.
