Women of Wealth (WoW) will lead a hands-on workshop that blends My Financial Power, Savvy Saver, and My Financial Planner into one practical session. Girl Scouts will learn the essentials of smart money management-credit and borrowing basics, saving and budgeting strategies, investing 101, and how to build a simple plan for financial independence after high school. Interactive activities and real-world scenarios help students practice decision-making they can use right away.
A pizza lunch will be provided after the session ends at 12:00 PM, for any girls are able to stay and chat about what they've learned!
Troops attending this event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two unrelated chaperones. All adults attending the program MUST be registered. Please consider only registering enough adults in order to maintain ratio. Any additional adults will take away from girl spots.
You will receive additional information regarding your program about 1 week prior to the start of the event.
