Are you looking to make a special present? Come make a melon-shaped egg basket that will be a cherished holiday present by itself or you can fill with some small gifts. It starts with two simple God's Eye weavings to connect two hoops to establish the handle and rim of the basket. It is helpful if you are already familiar with this weaving technique before you come to camp. After inserting rib reeds, then you will use a simple in-and-out weave to complete your basket. Your 8-inch basket will be a treasure for years to come!
Girls who are not attending the program with a troop, must be accompanied by their parent/guardian.
All attending adults are required to register for the program. Please consider only registering enough adults in order to maintain ratio.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Program fee refunds will not be issued for cancellations received TWO WEEKS or less before the event. If the Foxfire Team needs to cancel the event due to low enrollment or other factors, program fee refunds will be issued by GSHPA and registrants will be notified.
