Experience Camp Small Valley summer adventure activities as a Family
or Troop! Our Family Adventure Day offers a little bit of everything!
The entire family is welcome to join us at this event,
but you must have at least one girl (5 years old or older)
participating. She is not required to be a current Girl Scout.
Siblings: All minor siblings can be registered under the "girl" option during registration.
What your day will look like:
Check-in will begin at the STAR Center, followed by an opening flag ceremony and general safety rules. Participants will rotate through four activities during the day-two in the morning with a snack break, then lunch in the dining hall, followed by two more activities in the afternoon. The day will end with a campfire at the amphitheater with s'mores, camp songs, and a closing flag ceremony.
Activity Track Choices: Some tracks have limits on the number of participants allowed, so do not delay with your registration!

Food: Snacks and Lunch Provided During the Event for all
participants.
Day Pack: Please be sure to have a backpack with your swimsuits, towels, goggles, sunscreen, bug spray, and water bottles. Please do not wear flip-flops or sandals as our ground is very rocky!
Adventure Requirements: Long hair is required to be tied back and you must wear closed toed shoes for the adventure elements. Please do not wear Crocs.
Supervision: Our enthusiastic camp staff will be there to facilitate the activities for the day, but the supervision of the children in your care is your responsibility. Therefore, you must sign-up for the same activities as the children in your care.
This program requires a minimum of 40 girls registered. Adults MUST be registered with all minors.
Troops attending this event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two unrelated chaperones.
You will receive additional information two weeks prior to the start of the event, including a packing list.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Program fee refunds will not be issued for cancellations received two week or less before the program start date.
