Being a Girl Scout is so much more than earning badges, it's about discovering who you are and all you can become. Girl Fest: Discovery Day invites girls to celebrate International Day of the Girl, through exploring new passions and discovering the endless possibilities waiting for you.
What to expect:
* Choose your own activity track
* Join 3 different interactive sessions
* Visit community partner activity booths
* End the day with our big COLOR PARTY celebration
* Take home a custom Girl Fest patch
Throughout the day, girls will create, experiment, move, and imagine as they develop new skills and uncover interests that could shape their future. Explore culinary creations, design inventions, move your body, and get outdoors, because every experience is an opportunity for girls to grow and discover something new!
At Girl Fest, girls will build their own path by choosing experiences from three exciting tracks:
* Kitchen Creations - Explore the world of food through hands-on culinary experiences.
* Innovation Station - Discover the excitement of STEM through hands-on activities that spark curiosity.
* On The Move - Get active with movement that inspires teamwork and self-expression. Girls will also have the option to sign up for special activities like archery or boating, but these spots are first-come, first-served - so get your registration in today!
The fun doesn't stop when sessions end! Between sessions, girls will have the opportunity to connect with community partners and explore additional hobbies and experiences.
And that's not all! Every registered girl will receive a commemorative Girl Fest patch to celebrate their day of discovery.
Preordered white event shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Girls and adults are encouraged to wear their white event shirts for our final celebration of the day, the COLOR PARTY!
Please Note: Session selections and optional event T-shirt pre-orders will be completed through separate forms that will be emailed to registered participants after registration.
Swagon and Retail Shop: Caregivers and girls will also have the opportunity to shop the Swagon or Retail Shop during Girl Fest. Uniform pieces and other Girl Scout items will be available for purchase, with pre-ordering and pick-up options available to make shopping quick and convenient during the event.
Calling All Volunteers!
Want to help make Girl Fest an unforgettable experience? We're looking for volunteers to help bring this event to life! Current Cadettes and older Girl Scouts are welcome to volunteer, and community service hours can be provided for school or service projects when arranged in advance.
Interested in joining the fun? Contact Katie Anderson or Carolina Dawson at memberservices@gshpa.org to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
As Girl Scouts, we believe girls don't have to choose just one path. They can explore many interests, embrace new challenges, and become leaders wherever their passions take them. Girl Fest is a celebration of discovery and a reminder that the Girl Scout journey is just the beginning of all the incredible things they can be!
