The Juniata College Raystown Field Station is excited to help Cadettes work toward their Eco Trekker Badge! Participants will begin the day by learning about the 7 principles of Leave No Trace from certified outdoor ethics instructors. This lesson will focus on minimizing our environmental impacts when we recreate in the outdoors. Every time we go outside, there are choices we can make to be good stewards of the world around us. After exploring these principles, we will then plan for and take a group hike on the field station trails to practice putting what we learned into action. Dress for the weather and get ready to explore!

Cadettes will earn their Eco Trekker badge.
