She Shines is back, and this year's event is ready to help you shine from the inside out!
She Shines: Where Confidence Meets Courage is a one-of-a-kind experience created to uplift, inspire, and empower girls. Hosted by Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, this extended event is designed to build confidence, courage, and strength through a series of hands-on experiences focused on self-care, leadership, and wellness.
Throughout the day, you'll rotate through engaging sessions that dive into topics that matter most to you:
Mind & Mood: Focus on mental wellness and emotional strength in a supportive and uplifting space. You'll explore body confidence and self-worth while challenging unrealistic beauty standards and media messages. This session is all about strengthening your mindset and embracing all that you are both inside and out.
Strong Inside & Out: Learn how to fuel your body with healthy habits while exploring how what you eat affects how you feel. You'll dive into the connection between physical and emotional well-being and walk away with real tools to help you feel your best every day.
Create & Chill: Unwind in our calming spa lab while making your own self-care items. Then, reflect on your goals and dreams as you design and create a personal vision board that celebrates what makes you unique.
Leadership Lab: Step into your power by practicing how to speak up, lead with courage and compassion and build the confidence to make your voice heard in your community and beyond.
Each session is thoughtfully designed to help you grow stronger, more self-aware, and more empowered to lead with confidence and purpose.
Dress comfortably and get ready to embrace your inner strength! You'll be moving through interactive stations, participating in hands-on activities, and spending time both indoors and outdoors. Wear sneakers or comfortable shoes, bring layers or weather-appropriate outerwear, and choose clothes you don't mind getting creative in!
This day is all about you and your journey toward becoming the strongest and most confident version of yourself. It's a celebration of your abilities, your voice and everything that makes being a girl powerful! So, lace up your sneakers, let your light shine, and join us rain or shine for a day of strength, self-discovery, and celebration.
Special Bonus! This event fulfills the Outside the Mirror, Mind, Body, Me, and Cheers for Everybody badge requirements. You'll receive your earned badge and a special She Shines patch to commemorate this unforgettable day.
