Attention Senior Girl Scouts! Come out to Camp Archbald to earn your Paddling badge!
Get in the lake, learn the basics of Standup Paddleboarding, and gain confidence while you show off your new paddling skills. You get to spend a day adventuring on the lake with other Girl Scouts, with the perfect mix of learning, teamwork, and outdoor fun. By the end of the program, girls will have the skills and confidence to safely enjoy paddling for years to come.
Senior girls will earn their Paddling badge.
Troops attending this event must adhere to the girl-adult ratios outlined in Volunteer Essentials. Individual girls must attend with a parent/guardian. All troops must have at least two unrelated chaperones. All adults attending the program MUST be registered. Please consider only registering enough adults in order to maintain ratio. Any additional adults will take away from girl spots.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Program fee refunds will not be issued for cancellations received ONE WEEK or less before the event. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event closes. If SOCA staff need to cancel the event due to low enrollment or other factors, program fee refunds will be issued and registrants will be notified. Registration transfers will not be possible once the event closes.
Please note: This event is run by volunteers from Supporters of Camp Archbald. This event is not sponsored or organized by Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA.
