For 50 years, Foxfire House has helped Girl Scouts connect with history in a way that books simply can't. This September, we invite you to celebrate this special milestone with us!
Join us for the Foxfire House 50th Anniversary Open House and experience one of Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania's most treasured historic sites.

Whether you visited Foxfire House as a Girl Scout years ago or have yet to explore this unique property, this event is for you. Current and former Girl Scouts, families, history enthusiasts, and members of the community are all welcome.
During your visit, you can:

Tour the beautifully preserved early 1800s Pennsylvania German farmstead

Explore the house, grounds, and historic outbuildings

Discover the trades and skills of families in the 1800s

Enjoy hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities

Learn about the history of Foxfire House and how it continues to inspire Girl Scouts today

A shuttle service will be available from the parking lot to Foxfire House for guests who require assistance.
While walk-ins are welcome, pre-registration is appreciated to help us prepare for the celebration.
